Habits or skills that I picked up at college that surprise me

HABITS OR SKILLS THAT I PICKED UP AT COLLEGE THAT SURPRISE ME · · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · · When I first started college, I didn’t really expect to pick up any new habits or skills outside of my studies. But looking back, I’m actually surprised at how much I’ve learned just by going through daily college life. One habit I picked up is being more organized with my time. Back in school, I used to procrastinate a lot and somehow still got away with it. But in college, deadlines come so fast, and there are always multiple things to juggle. At first, I struggled, but slowly I developed the habit of planning my tasks, making small to-do lists, and not leaving everything to the last minute. It surprised me because I never thought I’d be the type to actually plan things out. Another skill I picked up is speaking up more. I used to be the kind of person who stayed quiet in class, even when I was confused. But college forced me out of that shell a bit. I learned to ask questions, participate in group work, a...

Definition of happiness when I'm at college

DEFINITION OF HAPPINESS WHEN I'M AT COLLEGE  · · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · · When people talk about happiness in college, they usually mention getting good grades or achieving goals. For me, happiness in college is something much simpler, it’s having nice friends around me. Honestly, friends are the ones who make this whole journey less stressful and a lot more meaningful. College can be tough. There are late nights of studying, stressful assignments, and days when you just feel drained. But when you have good friends by your side, everything feels lighter. They’re the ones who make you laugh at the most random moments, share snacks during class, and stay up with you when you’re panicking over deadlines. Even small things, like walking to class together or chatting during breaks, become special memories. What I’ve realized is that having nice friends isn’t just about fun, it’s also about support. They’re the ones who remind you that you’re not alone when things get overwhelming. Sometimes, one si...

Mistakes I made in college and what I learned from them

MISTAKES I MADE IN COLLEGE AND WHAT I LEARNED FROM THEM · · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · · When I first entered college, I thought I could handle everything easily. But of course, reality was different, and along the way I made quite a few mistakes. Looking back now, I actually feel thankful for those mistakes, because they taught me lessons that I wouldn’t have learned otherwise. One of the biggest mistakes I made was procrastinating. I used to put off assignments until the very last minute. At that time, I thought, “It’s fine, I still have time.” But when the deadline got closer, I would panic, rush through everything, and end up feeling stressed. Sometimes the work I submitted wasn’t even my best. From that mistake, I realized how important time management is. Doing a little bit every day feels so much better than trying to finish everything overnight. Another mistake was being too quiet in class. Whenever I didn’t understand something, I just stayed silent. I was scared people might laugh or think I...

Class or lecturer that has impacted me significantly

Class or lecturer that has impacted me significantly · · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · · ˖᯽ ݁˖· ─  One class that really impacted me is the one with Miss Shafiqa. Honestly, she’s got such a pure heart, and you can feel it in the way she teaches. It’s not just about finishing the syllabus, she actually cares about us as students. She motivates us, gives us advice, and somehow makes the class feel lighter even when the topic is tough. What really stood out to me is how patient she is. Even when we make mistakes, she never makes us feel bad. Instead, she explains things in a way that helps us improve. That made me realize something important: sometimes it’s not the subject that’s hard, it’s how it’s taught. When a lecturer shows kindness and understanding, learning feels less like a burden and more like a challenge you want to overcome. Looking back, I think the reason Miss Shafiqa’s class had such an impact on me is because she combined knowledge with sincerity. It’s easy to forget lessons from ...

Times when I stepped out of my comfort zone

TIMES WHEN I STEPPED OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE · · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · · ˖᯽ ݁˖· ─  There were a few times I had to step out of my comfort zone, and honestly, two moments really stuck with me. The first one was when I had to present in front of the whole class. I was super nervous. I could literally feel my hands shaking. But once I started talking, it wasn’t as bad as I thought, and by the end, I actually felt kind of proud.  .ᐟ.ᐟ The second time was when I joined an activity where I didn’t know anyone at all. At first, I felt so awkward, like I was just standing there not knowing what to do. But after I pushed myself to join in, I started to enjoy it, and I even made a couple of new friends. When I look back, I realize both times followed the same pattern, at the start I was overthinking, imagining the worst-case scenario. But once I actually did the thing, it turned out way better than I expected. That makes me think maybe it’s not the situation that’s so scary,  it’s my own...

WELCOME TO MY BLOG ! · · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · · INTRODUCTION 𐙚⋆.˚ Hello and welcome to my blog !  .⋆. 𐙚 ˚❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・  My name is Wafa binti Khairil Azuar, and I am currently a student at KPTM Kota Bharu, Kelantan. I created this blog as part of my assignment, but I also see it as a nice chance to practice my writing and share a little bit about myself. And honestly, I’m just a pretty chill person. One of the things I really love to do is play games. It’s like my way of escaping stress and just having fun. Sometimes I get too into it, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right? Besides gaming, I also enjoy spending my time watching movies. I can literally sit for hours just binge-watching, whether it’s action, comedy, or even something emotional. Movies are like my comfort zone, and I love how they can make me laugh, cry, or even think deeper about life. So yeah, that’s a little about me. I’m someone who enjoys simple things, like games and movies, and I think they really show my persona...
